Dr. Bianca Cota strives to deliver quality care and accessible services. You can expect a safe, confidential, and welcoming environment. She offers in-person sessions to individuals within California’s Central Valley and telehealth sessions to all California residents. Dr. Cota is a contracted provider with a number of insurance panels, ensuring healthcare is attainable and affordable. Committed to offering patients the attention, empathy, and attunement they deserve, Dr. Cota maintains a modest caseload.

Dr. Cota brings her whole self into each therapy session to provide the level of attention needed to help guide patients. This means she is authentic in her treatment approach and asks the same from her patients. Dr. Cota encourages patients to bring their whole, authentic selves to each session to allow for reflection, healing, and growth. Her therapeutic approach incorporates psychodynamic and existential theory, evidence-based practices, and mindfulness.

“As psychotherapists our way of being speaks. How we communicate is as important as what we communicate. Many of us have come to realize more and more, the central importance of being “real” in all of our clinical work with our patients - that something more than technical intervention is needed to bring about personal growth and problem resolution. Dr. Cota is one of those rare psychologists who simply embodies such a blend - that of high standards, professional acumen, and a kind of relational warmth that is essential to the psychotherapeutic process. The opportunity to work with Dr. Cota as a colleague has been wonderful. Client testimonials that I have heard say the same. So, be you either a prospective client or future professional colleague, I believe you will find your work with Dr. Cota to be an exceptional experience indeed.”
